Sentencing delayed for 84 y-o man on firearm charge
ST ELIZABETH, Jamaica – An 84-year-old man who is charged with illegal possession of firearm and ammunition had his sentencing delayed for a third time when he appeared in the St Elizabeth Circuit Court on Friday.
Bertie Griffiths of Ben Lomond, close to Quickstep, just below the Trelawny border in north east St Elizabeth, who has pleaded guilty to illegal possession of a .22 revolver and one round of 9mm ammunition, will next appear in the Home Circuit in Kingston on December 15.
