Harrison Henry sworn in as new Public Defender
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Attorney-at-law Arlene Harrison Henry was a short while ago sworn in by Governor General, Sir Patrick Allen as the new Public Defender.
Harrison Henry takes over the position of Public Defender from Earl Witter. The swearing in ceremony was held at King’s House.
She is a former head of the Jamaican Bar Association (JBA) and is the current chair of the Independent Jamaican Council for Human Rights.
