Horse of the Year voting under way

Voting for the Horse of the Year by the select group of racing journalists and racing officials started earlier this week and is expected to be completed by tomorrow with a possible announcement by Monday of next week.

This year the main contenders for the coveted title are Potcheen, Perfect Neighbour and Typewriter.

Last year the filly Princess Popstar was named Horse of the Year.
