What is your earliest memory of Kingston?
Sunday ice-cream at Devon House with my mother comes to mind.
What would you do if you were mayor of Kingston for a day?
Alongside my team, I would organise a fund-raising event to facilitate cleaning of the streets and providing aid for the homeless. The hope is that after this day, an impact would have been made to make it become an annual event to continue for years to come.
What is the most memorable meal you’ve enjoyed in Kingston?
I can’t recall which birthday it was, but I had charcoal chicken from Gordon’s Restauran, which used to be inside the PCJ building on Trafalgar Road.
What would your must-do itinerary include for a
first-time visitor to Kingston?
A visit to the Bob Marley Museum, a tour of Trench Town, Fort Charles in Port Royal to capture some of the city’s history and then a trip into the hills for lunch or dinner at Strawberry Hill.

Who is your professional idol and why?
Dr Denise Roberts because she is hard working and dedicated to the field of physical therapy. She has always been a mentor to me and other young physical therapists and I have always admired her work ethic and achievements over the years.
Where is your favourite chill spot to unwind?
Frenchman’s Cove Beach in Portland.
As an avid fitness buff, how do you go about maintaining a toned bod?
I do Crossfit 5 times per week and run at least twice per week.
How would you assess the general societal attitude towards lifestyle fitness in Jamaica?
The fitness lifestyle has taken an immense surge forward in Kingston; people are more conscious of their health and fitness, exercising more and eating better. Very evident by the growth in the number of active fitness/running groups around town and healthy foods with cleaner eating options available.
What are your favourite and least favourite body parts?
Favourite body parts are legs. The least favourite, believe it or not, are the shoulders.
When was the last time you cried?
In 2013. When a close friend passed away.
When were you last happiest?
January 10, 2015 when I went to an Olympic lifting seminar… I love lifting.
Beyoncé or Rihanna? Whose physicality do you prefer?
Beyoncé. I like a woman with thicker legs.

What was your last retail indulgence? What did you splurge on?
I bought a Garmin Forerunner GPS running watch.
If one had to abide by a strict four-rule fitness code, what would it be?
1 Attention to form is paramount to prevent injury.
2 Always scale the intensity of the workout to your ability.
3 Consistency is what will bring the results.
4 Rest and nutrition are just as important as your intense workout.
What is your life philosophy?
Be as good of a person as my mother is, turning my dreams into goals and doing what’s right to attain them while trusting the process of life on the journey.
