Dear editor,

More evidence of our demise under a failed, cartoon and circus clown Government.

Our demise has been continuous and precipitous, every single day since this admin took offic. And despite all the failures and incompetency, no one – whether from the intellectual class, the media, the business sector – is coming out and calling this cartoon Government for what it is, an abject failure.

Everything is failing: the economy, crime, State-run Government agencies, our hospitals, our schools, our dollar – which until 1971 was worth more than the USD is now almost worthless – increasing human rights abuse by agents of the State, increasing poverty and lower human development index, bad roads everywhere, troubling escalation in murders, and the majority of Jamaicans are subjected to a wretched life of harsh economic times.

These are not my opinion, these are all failings that have developed and got worse in this country.

Jamaica and the Jamaican people deserve better and we can do better as a country, but the leadership and governance is weak, inept, incompetent, clueless and useless.

Without a robust export sector we are doomed, and an efficient and fully working and functional port is key.
