Gas prices up $2.21, diesel up $2.98
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in prices of gasoline and diesel effective Thursday, February 12 with an increase in ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold by Petrojam for $95.01 and $96.66 per litre respectively, up $2.21 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $94.83 per litre following an increase of $2.98, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $3.70, and will be sold for $105.82 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene oil increased in price by $2.99and will be sold for $101.91 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $38.16 per litre, up $1.20 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $41.69 per litre after an increase of one cent.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
