The Reggae Boyz contingent, which included JFF president Captain Horace Burrell and team manager Roy Simpson, visited a number of Reggae Boyz plying their trade in England, including Rodolph Austin (Leeds), Gareth McCleary, Michael Hector (Reading), Adrian Mariappa, Dwight Gayle, Jason Puncheon (Crystal Palace), Wes Morgan (Leicester City), Simon Dawkins (Derby County), Joel Grant (Yeovil Town) to engage in discussions with their managers regarding this summer’s Copa America and CONCACAF Gold Cup FIFA-sanctioned tournaments as well as their holiday plans. Crichlow, who is suffering from a stress fracture of his left leg, did not acquire his Jamaican travel documents in time to be registered for the CONCACAF Under-17 Championships in Honduras later this month. Schaefer and the crew were to have engaged the manager of two other young players with a view to them joining the Young Reggae Boyz setup.
