PCL Cricket: T&T in command vs Jamaica
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trinidad & Tobago Red Force are in command against Jamaica Franchise after taking a big 294-run lead at the end of Saturday’s second day of the Professional Cricket League four-day match at Sabina Park.
At the close, the Red Force, propelled by 87 not out from left-hander Kjorn Ottley, were 184-4 in their second innings. Kjorn’s brother Yannick was unbeaten on eight.
Jamaica, who began on their overnight 12-1, were bowled out for 167 as Trinidad & Tobago’s seam bowler Marlon Richards grabbed 4-42. Jamaica were led by 20-year-old debutante batsman Brandon King, who hit 71, and Odean Brown, who made 44.
T&T had compiled 277 all out in their first innings on Friday. ?Scores: Trinidad & Tobago 277 & 184-4; Jamaica 167.
