Top plays in the NBA

5 Harrison Barnes received the outlet pass under the rim and seemed to think he had all the time in the world to make his shot. Paul Pierce didn’t agree though, and barrelled black to spank the attempted lay-up against the backboard before snatching the rebound.

4 Brooklyn Nets’ Markel Brown makes the reel this week with his exhibition 360-dunk to finish off a fast break.

3 John Wall tried to contest Kyrie Irving’s impending right handed lay-up, but soon found the ball was switched to the left and a finessed lay-up finish already in the air. LeBron James approved of his point guard’s style from the bench.

2 Ricky Rubio, normally the epitome of style and calm found himself scrambling on the floor this week at the hands of James Harden’s handles. A few crossovers and hesitations had the diminutive point guard on the hardwood, allowing Harden to step back and sink the three.

1 Two recent arrivals to the Cavaliers combined brilliantly this week with Iman Shumpert finding the cutting JR Smith with a quick entry pass, which Smith took in midair and slammed home with the reverse dunk.
