Di Govanah readies for Jam Session
UP-AND-COMING reggae/dancehall artiste Di Govanah is preparing for the release of his seven-track EP Jam Session next month.
The set is co-produced by Gully Echo Productions and Fyba Glass Records.
“This marks a very exhilarating time for me musically as I strive to achieve the heights. My goal is to be a voice for Jah people bringing a positive message while maintaining my musical relevance,” said the 27-year-old.
In addition to the EP’s title track, the set also comprises Time Like This, Jah Say Don’t and Inna Trouble.
Hailing from St James, Di Govanah (given name Desmond Williams) started honing his craft while attending Maldon High in the parish.
He has two album to his credit Combination and Musically Equipped.
While fairly new to the game, Di Govanah has already graced the Reggae Sumfest stage.
He is preparing for a European trip come summer. He will be supported by Swiss band Gully Echo and producer Aron Franchetti.
