Molynes Road madness
Dear SSP,
During the afternoon peak hours, the Molynes Road becomes a haven for undisplined taxi drivers who totally disregard the road code and safety of commuters.
They dangerously overtake in the line of oncoming traffic and forcefully ‘squeeze’ back in at will. As a female driver, I must say I’m very intimidated by them.
What will be done to these drivers who make the roadway very dangerous for road users?

Dear Ms Williams,
We have heard about the disorder in that area and, as you know, we are for order and discipline.
It is sad to say, but there are many different areas across the island where road users totally disregard the laws of the land.
Despite this unfortunate situation, I really have an experienced traffic team, so we will be sending a clear warning to both red- and white-plate offenders in short order.
I am sure you appreciate the fact that I cannot give you a date as this would serve to warn the offenders.
We want greater safety for everyone on the road.
