Major Warrenton Dixon, JaVA’s development manager, was re-elected unopposed to serve a second four-year term as a vice-president of the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA).
The election took place during the 2015 CAZOVA Congress held in Trinidad and Tobago last Saturday.
Also re-elected were President Mushtaque Mohammed (Trinidad), Vice-President Lucille Hobson (US Virgin Islands) and board member Phillip Lirus (Martinique).
Margareth Graham (Haiti), who served as general secretary for the last term, was elected as treasurer. Filamena Curiel (Aruba), general secretary, and Winston Cairo (Suriname) board member, were the new additions.
Along with President Mohammed, Major Dixon and Hobson will also continue to represent CAZOVA as board members of the North Central America and Caribbean (NORCECA) Volleyball Confederation.
