PCL Cricket: Barbados reach 66-1 at lunch vs Jamaica

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Barbados Pride are 66-1 at lunch on Friday’s first day against Jamaica Franchise after winning the toss and opting to bat in the Professional Cricket League four-day match at Sabina Park.

Shai Hope is not out on 35 and left-hander Omar Phillips is on 18.

West Indies Test opener Kraigg Brathwaite, also the captain of the Pride, was dismissed without scoring off the bowling of pacer Marquino Mindley.

The 18-year-old schoolboy Ramaal Lewis is making his debut for Jamaica.
