MANDEVILLE, Manchester — Twenty-eight goals were scored on the opening weekend of the Manchester FA/CAN Care Pharmacy Under-15 competition, with Hillstars FC accounting for the majority in a 7-1 victory over Georges Valley at the Kirkvine Sport Club.

Chryshawn Wiggan led the way for the Spalding-based club with a hat trick, setting the stage with a third-minute opener, before rounding out his treble in the 48th and 62nd minutes of play.

Norman Cole added a brace in the fourth and 50th, while Devon Blake and Javon Daley completed the rout late on. Joseph Powell got the consolation for Georges Valley.

Meanwhile, in other results, Ricam Academy thrashed New Green 5-0; Mile Gully blanked Comfort CC 4-0, Porus topped 360° Youth Academy 4-1, while Downs got by Blue Mountain 2-0.

The game between Villa United and Alligator Pond failed to produce a winner, with Romel McKay netting a 61st-minute equaliser to salvage a 2-2 draw for Alligator Pond.
