“What it shows is that when you partner with the Observer good things happen. We want our clients to spend with us but we also want to make sure that we are delivering for you, so it’s about a partnership and we have a very dedicated sales team to work with you,” he added.
Meanwhile, team awards went to the Observer’s Sharla Murray-Wright and Claire Whorms-Whitehorne under the category Most Consistent Sales Executives.
Sales executives who achieved the highest growth percentage in revenue over the previous year also went to Murray-Wright, Whorms-Whitehorne and Careen Wright.
The three along with Sherice McDonald were also presented the award for Top Sales Executives of the Year, while Rory Daley, Randy Lindsay, Ricardo Nelson and Paul Allen were recognised as Most Valuable Persons in the Observer’s advertising and marketing departments.
“Observer is a partner and will remain a partner until when we are the newspaper that’s 180 years old, we’re not going anywhere; our print media is growing. Thank you for your support throughout the year and for your loyalty going forward,” Walker said.
