Woman dead, man hospitalised following Trelawny crash
TRELAWNY, Jamaica – A woman died as a result of injuries she sustained during a motor vehicle crash, while a man has been hospitalised.
The incident occurred along the Hague main road in Trelawny early this morning.
The deceased, whose identity has not yet been released by the police, is said to be of a Race Course, Falmouth, Trelawny address.
Reports are that about 4:00 am a Mercedez Benz motorcar was heading towards Falmouth along the Hague thoroughfare when it crashed into the back of a parked tractor trailer.
The woman died at the scene while the man, who is believed to be the driver, was rushed to the Falmouth Public General Hospital.
The Falmouth police are investigating.
