Making a Statement
PATRONS came out in their numbers at the second staging of premium bottle bar party series, Statement, held at the Country Side Club in St Andrew, last Saturday.
The event is promoted by Asfah James and chef Shea Stewart.
“We definitely saw an increase in patrons this year compared to last year. We managed to attract a wider demographic of patrons, and we are proud of that,” Stewart told the Jamaica Observer.
Patrons partied into the early hours of Sunday morning to EDM, dancehall, reggae and soca provided by sound systems Chromatic and Infuzion Sound as well as selectors DJ Narity and Copper Ash from Coppershot Disco.
Several entertainers were seen at the event, including singers Denyque and Christopher Martin as well as dancehall deejay Bounty Killer.
Statement’s first staging was held in June last year. Another is schedule for the same time next year.
