Pepperpot – Not the way to view GSAT

Those who witnessed the incident said they were horrified to see how the woman was treating her son and the terrible words she used to him because he did not get any of his choice of schools from the GSAT. Will we ever learn that that is not the way?

Rest in peace, David Ebanks

I’ve always enjoyed listening to David Ebanks on radio, and so I was very sorry to hear he has passed. I’m sure many others like me who loved his voice will miss him.

Good going, Dr Andrew Wheatley

One of the most intelligent Opposition spokespersons is Dr Andrew Wheatley who has responsibility for Information Technology. His utterances are usually quite sensible and I never get the impression that he is just playing politics for politics’ sake. His decision to take a leave of absence from duties as deputy general secretary to support a candidacy is principled and cause for much ‘big up’.

Returning resident

The contractor who sold several homes and fled the island in the ’70s has returned home, much older and poorer. Close friends say he is scrounging around. What a sad situation.

Question of the week

Did Andrew Holness not declare his house to the Integrity Commission as parliamentarians are supposed to do under the anti-corruption legislation?
