Steve McGregor elected to new POA executive body
KINGSTON, Jamaica — A new executive body was elected on Friday during the Police Officers Association’s (POA) All Officers Conference held at the Police Officers’ Club on Hope Road, St Andrew.
The new body was selected by gazette officers of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF).
The Executive body will now be chaired by Deputy Superintendent of Police Catherine Lord and Senior Superintendent of Police Steve McGregor, vice chairman. Superintendent Wayne Cameron was elected secretary/treasurer and will be assisted by Superintendent Maxine Rives as assistant secretary/treasurer
The other members are Assistant Superintendent Saint George Jackson, Deputy Superintendent of Police David White and Deputy Superintendent of Police Christopher Phillips
Outgoing Chairman Senior Superintendent of Police Glenford Hudson thanked the Officer for their support over the years. DSP Catherine Lord is now the second female to hold the chairperson position behind Deputy Commissioner Novelette Grant who held the post in the year 2000.
