Two down, one winner to go
MARVIL Stephenson, who hails from the parish of St Elizabeth, is the second winner in GraceKennedy’s Grace on the Move Campaign, which stopped on a two-day promotion in May Pen, Clarendon, last weekend.
She won a brand-new Nissan Juke.
“I’m definitely going to keep the vehicle,” Stephenson, a recently retired teacher, told Auto.
Stephenson was declared the winner on June 26. She had been a regular entrant in the contest, first sending in six entries and three every month following. She was still participating upon being told she’d won.
“I was waiting to get my money to mail another set of entries next week,” she explained.
Stephenson joins inaugural Grace on the Move winner Louise Bryan. Hailing from St Catherine, Bryan had her winning announcement at the ISSA GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Championships on March 28. In front of a packed stadium she received her prize, a 2014 Nissan Versa sedan.
The third and final vehicle, the grand prize of the promotion, is a 2015 X-Trail, and is to be given away on August 29 when the Grace on the Move comes to a close in Montego Bay.
The three vehicles have been provided by Fidelity Motors, local dealers for the Nissan brand, and has 50 per cent of their insurance covered by GK General Insurance.
“I’ve still got a few entries lying around so I might go for the grand prize,” said Stephenson.
