Sumfest off to a good start
ST JAMES, Jamaica — Held at the Aqua Sol Water Park in Montego Bay on Sunday, Beachfest -the first in the line-up of Reggae Sumfest events- turned out to be a spectacular affair.
The stellar lineup of disc jocks including ZJ Liquid, Chromatic, Black Chiney, Bishop Escobar and Crazy Neil, as well as radio personality Miss Kitty, delivered.
“The turnout surpassed our expectations! I can comfortably say we had about 1,000 – 1,500 patronage during the duration of the event and from the looks of things everyone had a great time. As always, Miss Kitty was great. The crowd loved her, the disc jocks kept the vibes going all night and the event was incident free. What more can we ask for?” said Robert Russell, Chairman Summerfest Productions.
