2 women gunned down in Westmoreland home
WESTMORELAND, Jamaica – Two women were murdered in their Westmoreland home last night.
They have been identified as 53-year-old domestic helper Rose Murray and Latoya Daley, 25, who is also a domestic helper.
The incident took place at a house on Station Road in Little London, Westmoreland.
Reports from police in the parish are that around 1:09 am, Daley, Murray and Murray’s common-law husband were at home when armed men entered the house and proceeded to rob the man.
They then opened fire hitting both women before fleeing.
The police were summoned and upon arrival, Murray and Daley were reportedly seen in a pool of blood in one of the rooms with multiple gunshot wounds.
The police say the scene was processed and their bodies removed to the morgue.
