Justin Beiber comes to Kylie’s rescue… kind of

It would have been easier for you to follow up with this news if you had read my previous article in this feature; but never mind if you haven’t, I’ll simply recap. Just a few days ago Kylie Jenner posted a picture on Instagram with her hair in cornrows. Many individuals, mainly African-Americans, are calling it “cultural appropriation” and are bashing her about it. Even Hunger Games star Amandla Stenberg expressed her fair share to say about the matter.

The ‘attack’ caught the attention of 21-year-old pop star Justin Beiber, who ran to Kylie’s defense by leaving the comment, “Guys, leave her alone, we’re all trying to figure it out and she happens to be under a microscope! I’m the first to know this. But saying she’s being racist because she wants her hair in braids is ridiculous. Let’s focus on the bigger picture and instead of fighting over something stupid let’s do something about equality, but it doesn’t start here blasting a 17 year old kid for wearing braids.”

You might have assumed that Beiber’s comment quelled the problem a bit, but instead it got worse, and people got on his case as well. It would appear as though his past actions have left a permanent (negative) perception of the singer. Fair attempt though Justin… fair attempt. 

Warren Weir’s disrespectful Twitter rant

So it now seems as if the 25-year-old Olympic bronze medalist has gotten himself in some hot soup! Just a day ago, the star’s Twitter went a blaze with snide remarks towards a specific girl, reported to be his ex-fiancé. Weir tweeted, “tell your fat friend link me for a track shoes and go workout”, then he continued by saying, “Lol at you talking like you wasn’t my lil doggie who I told to jump and fetch, don’t act new when you a THOT”.

Let me tell you, this was definitely a wide-eyed jaw-dropping moment for many of us! After the star acknowledged his err, he made another post of apology and deleted his account. It may turn out to be too little too late though, as it will be hard for many to get over the shock of Weir’s actions.  

Former One Direction band member Zayn Malik slams Naughty Boy on Twitter

Not sure if you were on Twitter yesterday, but if you were, you would have noticed that the hashtag #ZAYNHASNOCHILL was trending for a couple of hours. Well just in case you missed it; this is the story. Apparently, 30-year-old British Dj and producer Naughty Boy leaked a video of Zayn’s cover of Rae Sremmurd’s No Type, and the 21-year-old star was seriously pissed about it.

A few hours later the star had to let the world know as he took to Twitter saying, “@NaughtyBoyMusic you fat joke stop pretending we’re friends”, then he later continued by saying, “No one knows you.” Later on he added, “Someone learned how to upload a video, maybe now he should learn how to use logic ha you ain’t s–t but a faker.”

I don’t think any of you can ever get bored, because these celebrities really are doing a great job at keeping us all entertained.
