Female artiste kicks off Dancehall Night at Reggae Sumfest
ST JAMES, Jamaica — Female deejay Sashae kicked off things at Dancehall Night of the 23rd staging of Reggae Sumfest here at the Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex.
The dancehall empress delivered a fiery set that featured a slew of combative lyrics which belied her charming looks.
She was followed by Montego Bay’s rising artiste, Chilando, who started with ‘Stay in Yu Lane’ before moving into’ Life Too Short’ and ‘Run Road’.
The opening acts are backed by Warrior Love Band .
Meanwhile, tonight’s show which includes a line-up of more than 20 artistes, will be closed by dancehall queen Lady Saw.
