It is going to be a cracking match when two powerhouse teams, champions Kingston Wharves and arch-rivals Campari meet in the National Association of Domino Bodies (NABD) Kingston & St Andrew Region Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum Business House League Division One Final today at the National Housing Trust’s (NHT) Car Park starting at 6:30 pm.

NHT will face Petrojam in the Division Two final at the same venue.

Kingston Wharves, who are yet to lose a match in the league, look the better team on paper. However, they cannot underestimate the determination of the Campri’s team.

Kingston Wharves, who proved their dominance when winning the title last year, will have to make sure their MVPs from last year, Rohan ‘Guy Fox’ Dixon and Fred ‘Teddy’ Thomas are firing on all four cylinders if they want to retain their title.

Campari, who are also unbeaten in the league, will be coming with fire in their eyes after losing the Knockout title to Gleaner recently.

After the losing the knockout championship, captain Wayne Richards said: “It seemed that the pressure got the better of us.”

In the semi-finals, Kingston Wharves defeated JUTC 123-122, while Campari got the better of Seprod 116-88.

Meanwhile, NHT should get the better of Petrojam with minimum fuss.

NHT cut Digicel’s signal 112-105 to reach the final, while Petrojam outplayed Jamaica Observer 137-115 in their semi-final match.
