UPDATE: Vendor killed in JUTC bus crash downtown Kingston
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A vendor was reportedly killed by the Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus that slammed into a store along West Parade, in downtown Kingston this morning.
He has been identified as Delroy Roberts of a Kingston address.
It has been reported that the bus was traveling along the road early this morning and, upon reaching the traffic light at the intersection of South and West Parade, it swerved off the road and slammed into the Rockland Furniture Depot.
The vendor who was selling on the side walk was pinned to the wall.
It is alleged that he died on the spot.
