400-pound marlin catch!
ST ANN, Jamaica – Fishermen who operate from the Fisherman’s Beach in Ocho Rios, St Ann, were in for a big surprise when they went out for their early morning catch on Monday.
Ricardo Harris and Odane Ford said they were fishing when the hook caught a marlin. According to Harris, he wrestled with the marlin for almost an hour before he was successful.
Harris also reportedly hurt his leg in the encounter.
The fish was 11 feet, two inches long and was estimated to weigh more than 400 pounds.
