Gas prices up $0.06, diesel up $0.18
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and an increase in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, August 20, with an increase in ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold by Petrojam for $109.28 and $110.94 per litre, respectively, up $0.06 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $95.81 per litre following an increase of $0.18, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $0.02, and will be sold for $104.62 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene oil decreased in price by $0.38 and will be sold for $92.83 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $34.28 per litre, up by $0.05 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $39.00 per litre after a increase of $0.09.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
