Arson suspected in death of St Ann man
ST ANN, Jamaica – A man was on Wednesday burnt to death during a blaze at his Buckfield home in the parish.
It is believed that the fire was deliberately set.
The dead man has been identified as 43-year-old Warren Williams.
Reports are that occupants saw smoke coming from a room occupied by Warren about 10:00 pm and alerted the police and fire department. The police are yet to indentify a suspect.
A unit from the Ocho Rios Fire Department responded and carried out cooling down operations. Williams’ charred remains were later found.
Investigations continue.
