Classic showing at fun day
IT was a bumper turnout by members of the Jamaica Classic Car Club (JCCC) as they lent their support to the St Mary Lay Magistrate Fun Day & Classic Car Show, at Buccaneers Jerk & Juice in St Mary, last Sunday.
“The membership responded in full force to this worthy cause,” Shane Angus, JCCC president, told Auto.
As one of the main attractions, the JCCC showed up with 27 classics cars from its members across the island at the event which was being put on to help raise funds for the Port Maria Hospital. The club was invited to participate on the heels of a successful meet in Port Antonio, Portland, at the Errol Flynn Marina.
Angus said the JCCC will stay in Kingston for its September meet.
“We haven’t decided on a date yet, but we might look at having another mug rally,” Angus said.
