Goals galore in ICWI/KSAFA U-15 football
DUHANEY Park FC defeated Waterhouse FC 1-0 in Zone D of their ICWI/KSAFA Under-15 football competition on Sunday to keep their 100 per cent win record intact.
From six matches Duhaney Park have scored 45 unanswered goals to lead the standings with 18 points.
However, it was Zone C leaders Arnett Gardens FC who stole the spotlight of the round by hammering Greenwich Town 14-0 to lead the standing with 15 points from six matches.
Arnett Gardens got three goals from Altamont Gordon; two from Rolando Barnett, Rontano Roberts, and Giovanni Barnes; and one each from Lando Johnson, Yassu Walter, Owen Ewart, Rodrique Delmar and Garfield Rennicks.
Also joining the goal spree were Cooreville Gardens who plundered Red Hills 12-0 in Zone D and registered their third win from seven games. Shakiel Dixon led the way with three goals, Orane Morris added two, and one each from Devan Bunsie, Rahiem Linton, Lorenzo Allen, and Richard Mountrichard.
Boys’ Town also defeated Seaview Gardens 3-0 in Zone C to move to 14 points, one less than leaders Arnett Gardens.
In other matches played on Sunday, Cavalier SC, also undefeated in four matches in Zone A, defeated Santos FC 2-0, while Shortwood edged Barbican 1-0, and Real Mona FC defeated Mountain View FC 4-1 with a double strike from Mikyle Meggs.
