Gas prices down $2.97, diesel down $1.48
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and a decrease in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, August 27, with a decrease in ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold by Petrojam for $106.31 and $107.97 per litre, respectively, down $2.97 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $94.33 per litre following a decrease of $1.48, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is down by $1.53, and will be sold for $103.09 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene oil decreased in price by $2.10 and will be sold for $90.73 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $34.07 per litre, down by $0.21 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $38.42 per litre after a decrease of $0.57.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
