CC, Munro battle for Jackson Shield Saturday
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Cornwall College will be going after a fifth straight hold on the Jackson Shield, when they take on long-time rivals Munro College in an annual pre-season double header at Jarrett Park on Saturday afternoon.
Teams from the schools will meet in two games. The present-day daCosta Cup teams in the first game will start at 3:00pm, followed by the Old Boys of both schools in the featured game.
The aggregate scores of both games will decide the winners of the competition.
Two years ago, when the game was last played in Montego Bay, Cornwall College won 4-2 on aggregate with the Old Boys winning their game 3-1, after the daCosta Cup teams had finished 1-1.
