Flow hosts another successful Back 2 School fair
MONTEGO BAY, St James — FLOW and its associate sponsors on Sunday staged another successful Flow Back 2 School fair at the Old Hospital Park in Montego Bay.
The event organisers pledged to cater to 5,000 patrons for this year’s staging and they delivered on their promise to make the event bigger and better than it was last year.
The first 700 patrons received back-to-school packs upon entrance.
The Health and Wellness Zone was a must-attend for many patrons whose children received free haircuts and where medical checks were conducted.
There were give-aways and dance competitions that kept patrons entertained. The biggest highlight for many of the children was the appearance of the Discovery Kids’ official mascot Doki, who danced to some of Jamaica’s most current
dance-hall hits. There was also a special photo op
area where children were able to get photo-keepsakes with Doki.
Nicole Campbell, sponsorship manager at Flow, was happy with the overall event.
She indicated, however, that improvements will be made to the fair going forward.
“The turnout was spectacular and I am really happy that we surpassed our target of 5,000 patrons,” Campbell said.
“Getting children back-to-school ready is the main focus of this event and so every year we make an assessment to determine how we can meet this need. We know we can do more, and so we will leverage our partnerships to ensure that even more children benefit from this event next year,” she added.
Campbell also urged patrons to continue to give feedback on the fair by emailing sponsorship@columbus.co.
