Gas prices down $2.02, diesel up $1.12
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the prices of gasoline and an increase in the price of diesel, effective Thursday, September 3, with an increase in ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold by Petrojam for $104.29 and $105.95 per litre, respectively, down $2.02 each.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $95.45 per litre following an increase of $1.12, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $1.49, and will be sold for $104.58 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene oil increased in price by $1.51 and will be sold for $92.24 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $34.11 per litre, up by $0.04 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $38.44 per litre after an increase of $0.02.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
