JCF launches ‘Get The Guns’ campaign
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Police High Command this morning officially launched its latest crime plan to clamp down on the country’s spiralling crime problem.
The initiative called ‘Get The Guns’ campaign was announced at the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s headquarters on Old Hope Road in headquarters in Kingston.
Senior members of the JCF said under the campaign, members of the public who are able to provide vital information that leads to confiscation of deadly weapons will be rewarded.
Specifics of the amount of money that will be rewarded were not disclosed but police officials said rewards will be similar to what is offered by Crime Stop.
