Lasco Top Cop fined for failing to declare assets
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Lasco Top Cop for 2015 Sergeant Ava Lindo was yesterday fined J$10,000 for failing to declare her assets for the years 2003 and 2004.
Lindo, who was charged for failing to declare her assets for the years 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2007, pleaded guilty to the charges for 2003 and 2004.
According to Lindo, she was in Lebanon at the time on a mission with the United Nations.
She was subsequently fined J$5,000 each for the years 2003 and 2004.
Charges against her for 2006 and 2007 were admonished and discharged.
