Ed Sheeran’s new song
Yesterday Ed Sheeran released a new single with UK group Rudimental, called Lay It All On Me. The news of the release came during the day yesterday following a teaser from Rudimental and a tweet or two from Ed.
The upbeat track is a little different from Ed’s usual slow, sultry and soulful songs. But we can see this track doing well on radio and becoming a part of any DJs queue. The collaborative effort is likely to give more exposure to Rudimental on an international level, while proving Ed’s versatility. It definitely shows him in a different light from his usual ballads.
The track has done well in the hours since its release and has climbed to the status of Hot Tracks on iTunes.
Unfortunately for hardcore Sheerios or just anyone who loves Ed’s music he also announced via Twitter yesterday that Lay It All On Me will be his last release for some time.
