Best and worst dressed at the Emmy Awards 2015

#FashionFridays

The Emmy Awards which was held earlier this week was one of the most spectacular events of the year. So of course we had to do a quick round-up to see who wore what and who rocked what.Empire actress for best dressed is January Jones, rocking an emerald green Ulyana Sergeenko onesie (jumpsuit) and she looked absolutely dashing! One may also argue that a jumpsuit for the red carpet is slightly under-dressed, but I disagree. This was definitely a hit for Jones. The look was simple and stunning.

Topping our best dressed list we have Taraji. P. Henson, sporting a custom-made Alexander Wang black dress. Off the rack it looks like a little black dress but she looked stunning on the red carpet. Truly an unforgettable sight.

Rolling in with the

Modern Family star, Sarah Hyland is another hit! Definitely. The 24-year-old actress rocked a Christian Siriano coral skirt which was paired with a white crop top. And yes she slayed!Orange Is The New Black looked so graceful on the red carpet. Polancho sported a Leanne Marshall dress with a strapless bodice and a flowing asymmetrical bottom. She was definitely a hit and represented for all the full figured ladies. Kudos to her.Chrisley Knows Best. Not my words but I am in totally agreement with Chrisley. The actress sported a canary yellow one-sleeved gown that was covered in frills with a detailed floral lace pattern. This look was most definitely a miss, sorry Heidi.

Dascha Polancho from Netflix hit series

As much as there were a good number of best dressed celebrities, we can’t ignore the ones who caused us to scratch our heads in amazement at their bravery. It’s either we could wear their red carpet outfit to our beds, as night gowns or we could make a substitute for our kitchen table cloth or even some drapes, no kidding!

“I’m not sure who Heidi Klum fought before she arrived, but she’s too beautiful to try and channel Donatella Versace #hotmess” remarked Todd Chrisley from the reality show

Rolling in behind the dazzling model is Christina Hendricks from Mad Men, who left us all mad after seeing her on the red carpet. Hendricks wore a Naeem Khan long sleeved embellished black and gold dress. This dress probably did the opposite of what we expected and must have been a mistake. This dress seemed way too heavy, which throws off the red carpet vibe. Also the dress did no justice to her beautiful curves and instead made her look a couple pounds heavier.

Next is Lady Gaga. This is probably no surprise to many because Lady Gaga is known for being different. But, those exaggerated sleeves on her Brandon Maxwell column gown looked like she was gearing up for a boxing match and was definitely a miss.

This is our take on the best and worst on the red carpet at the 2015 Emmy Awards, do you agree with our picks?
