Young people time!
Dear Editor,
I am very much troubled and disturbed by what I am seeing happening in politics.
As much as I knew that Raymond Pryce is not a ‘people person’, it is distasteful to see a man who could be his grandfather mounting a challenge against him. What we all need and want to see is young blood; yet this old man, that should be looking to retire, is trying to unseat a young, vibrant, and intelligent man. Can someone tell me that I am dreaming!
I have seen other old people putting up challenges against youngsters Hugh Buchanan and Lisa Hanna. What a shame! That they would do so is insulting, as they are stumbling blocks to progress and rebuilding. The constituents must not vote for any of them.
We are tired of the dinosaurs. Please, go and rest. Go home and leave these young aspirants to shape our future.
I am talking to both parties. The young should take us into the future.
I believe these old people are hungry and are looking for something to run with. Nothing is there for you.
I could never vote for you over a younger person. Leave the youngsters and bright aspirants alone.
