Gas prices unchanged, diesel up $1.23
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of diesel with no change in gasoline prices, effective Thursday, October 8, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
87- and 90-octane gasoline will be sold by Petrojam for $102.64 and $104.30 per litre, respectively, remaining unchanged.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $95.93 per litre following an increase of $1.23, while ultra-low sulphur diesel is up by $0.40, and will be sold for $103.55 per litre.
Meanwhile, kerosene oil increased in price by $0.76 and will be sold for $92.18 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $35.12 per litre, up by $0.10 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $40.88 per litre after an increase of $0.72.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark up to these prices.
