A former warehouse manager, accused of stealing $1-million worth of appliances from his employer had his bail extended when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.

His two co-accused — 33-year-old Carlene Nembhard and Orlando Decon, 33 — also had their bails extended.

The warehouse manager, 47-year-old Michael Nelson, is charged with larceny as a servant and conspiracy, while Nembhard and Decon are charged with receiving stolen property and conspiracy.

Nelson, who was employed to Appliance Traders Limited (ATL) and reportedly controlled the password to the locking system for the warehouse, allegedly conspired with Decon and Nembhard between June 1, 2014 and June 10, 2015 to defraud the company.

It is alleged that electronics and appliances, valued at $1,058,000 and belonged to ATL, were left at premises on Collins Green Avenue, Kingston, at Nelson’s home, at a location on Church Street in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

Their bails were extended for them to return to court on November 18, for mention.
