Jockey Douglas Badaloo fined $8,000
THE Stewards have announced the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, on Tuesday, October 27.
Jockey Georgina Sergeon, who rode Oh Happy Day in the fourth race on Saturday, October 17, had her explanation accepted for the interference caused to Bird Catcher leaving the 800-metre point.
Jockey Douglas Badaloo, who rode Sir Biggs in the sixth race on Saturday October 24, was fined $8,000.00 for the intimidation and interference caused to Stir It Up approaching the 500-metre point.
