MoBay six-a-side league enters quarter-final stage
MONTEGO BAY, St James — It is quarter-final day in the Ashley-Ann Foster Montego Bay six-a-side football competition to be played at the Creek Street parking lot this afternoon.
The top two teams from each of the four first round groups have qualified for today’s second round which will be played on a knock-out basis with the winners advancing to the quarter-finals.
In the first game at 1:00 pm, Hart Street will face Creek Street, followed by Real Madrid United against Bogue Garage. In another kick-off, Blood United and Queen Street will meet at 3:00 pm, while Barracks road and Veterans will meet in the final game of the day.
The competition started three weeks ago and is expected to be completed in another two weeks.
