KINGSTON, Jamaica — Minister of Finance and Planning Dr Peter Phillips will answer questions on the performance of the PetroCaribe Fund, when the House of Representatives meets this afternoon at Gordon House.

The question and answers session on today’s agenda will also include: Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Anthony Hylton, answering questions from Opposition MP, Karl Samuda, regarding import licences for motor vehicles, as well as questions regarding the Things Jamaican shop located at the Norman Manley International Airport.

Also on today’s agenda are: Debate to conclude on the Bill shortly entitled, “The Income Tax (Amendment) (No 2) Act, 2015” or the “Transfer Pricing Bill”; Bill shortly entitled, “The Road Traffic Act, 2015” to be debated; Debate to conclude on the Bill shortly entitled, “The Transport Authority Act, 2015”;  Debate to continue on Bills shortly entitled “The Local Governance Act, 2015”, “The Local Government (Financing and Financial Management) Act, 2015”, and “The Local Government (Unified Service and Employment) Act, 2015”, all linked to Local Government reform.

Debate is also scheduled to conclude on “The Criminal Justice (Administration) (Amendment) Act, 2015” and “The Judicature (Appellate Jurisdiction) (Amendment) Act, 2015”.
