Man flees cops leaving gun behind
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police are reporting the seizure of an illegal firearm and several rounds of ammunition in Greenwhich Farm, Kingston 13 on Saturday.
Reports are that about 2:15 am, lawmen were on patrol in the area when they observed a man who aroused their suspicion.
Upon the approach of the lawmen, the man reportedly fled and was pursued.
It is said that during the pursuit he dropped an object, which upon closer inspection turned out to be a CZ 9mm pistol containing four rounds.
The man escaped in the area.
