Another JUTC bus destroyed by fire
KINGSTON, Jamaica – A Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) bus was this morning destroyed by fire in the Papine, St Andrew area.
Residents in the area report that at about 7:30 am the number 77 bus was travelling along Golding Avenue when they noticed smoke coming from the vehicle.
An alarm was raised and the driver and a group of students, who were passengers, were able to vacate the vehicle.
The incident caused traffic pile up in the area.
