‘Old-time STORY’
Students all over the island were treated to traditional Jamaican folklore courtesy of the Jamaica Library Service (JLS) on November 20 when the National Storytelling Foundation of Jamaica in collaboration with the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission staged National Storytelling Day under the theme Old-time story.
For its part, the JLS hosted storytelling events in each of the 13 parish libraries. Here are highlights of the activites at the Kingston & St Andrew Parish Library on Tom Redcam Avenue in the capital city.
