STETHS, Dinthill to contest daCosta Cup final

KINGSTON, Jamaica – St Elizabeth Technical High School (STETHS) set up a championship clash with Dinthill Technical after clipping Lennon High 2-1 in Saturday’s ISSA/ Flow daCosta Cup semi-final match at Juici Park in Clarendon.

Neville Morgan gave STETHS the lead in the 20th minute, but Shawayne Nelson equalised for Lennon in the 50th minute. Michael Kerr gave STETHS the win when he scored from the penalty spot in minute 67.

Dinthill had secured their spot in the final after needing extra time to beat Manchester High 2-1 in the first semi-final on Friday. Rodave Murray scored both goals for Dinthill, while Manchester’s strike came from Jarvis Mattis

The daCosta Cup final is set to be played next Saturday at Montego Bay Sports Complex in St James.
