SPANISH TOWN, St Catherine — Defending champions Rivoli United will bow into action today as the second round in the St Catherine FA/Happy Sutherland Knockout (KO) competition begins with a double-header at the Spanish Town Prison Oval.

The Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) side wll tackle Major League outfit Federal United in the feature game at 6:00 pm.

Bodles FC and New Raiders will meet in the curtain raiser at 4:00 pm.

Despite sitting at the bottom of the RSPL standings, with just 11 points from a possible 42, Rivoli are expected to get the better of Major League newcomers Federal, who could only manage a 1-0 win against Tredegar Park in the first round.

Meanwhile, tomorrow, RSPL leaders Portmore United will also kick start their KO campaign at the Oval against GC Foster FC.

That match-up is scheduled to start at four, with former champions Frazsiers Whip and Naggos Head SC set to clash in the main event two hours later.

GC Foster advanced after clipping Windsor Lion 2-1 in their first-round encounter but are expected to face a much tougher challenge from the nation’s top side, which has lost only twice in 14 outings this season.
